Join Fay at FLÖ for a calm and confidence-building 90-minute open water workshop designed for swimmers who would like to develop their front crawl in a safe, supportive environment.
This session is ideal for those who currently swim head-up breaststroke and would like to begin building the skills and confidence to swim front crawl in open water. Fay is a Swim Teacher, Open Water Coach and Open Water Lifeguard Trainer, with a gentle, encouraging coaching style that’s ideal for swimmers who may feel nervous or unsure.
The workshop will cover:
Getting your head into the water
Building confidence with face-in swimming
Effective breathing
Developing a more efficient stroke
Sighting and swimming in a straight line
Feeling calmer and more confident in open water
Who is it for?
This workshop is for swimmers who are comfortable in open water but would like support moving from head-up breaststroke towards front crawl.
It’s especially suited to beginners, nervous swimmers, or those who want to improve their open water technique in a calm and encouraging setting.
What to bring:
Please bring swimwear, a towel, goggles and a wetsuit if you would like to wear one. You may also wish to bring warm layers for after the session.
Things to note:
Spaces are limited to allow for a focused and supportive small-group coaching session.
Participants should be able to swim and feel comfortable being in open water.

You can cancel your space for a refund up to 14 days before your session.
After this point, we’re unable to offer refunds or make changes to your booking.
If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to pass your space on to someone else.
